Day 1 & Day 2 : SINGAPORE / WHERE TO SHOP IN SINGAPORE

HI guys !!

               One thing i came to know about myself recently is that ' I am not good at keeping up my promises !!.. n m not happy with that at all . Its been a month since i have been to singapore but i am too lazy to write anything up on the blog .. hate that too . but i guess reason behind this is my sun sign ... i am an august born and leos are often lazy ;p

But finally holding back all my laziness i am again in mood to work up on the blog . My first day in singapore was a little depressing as i had to wait in the hotel lobby for atleast 4 hours as check in time was at 12:00 noon and we arrived as early as 8.am in the morning . But however it was all worth waiting ,.. They upgraded our room category seeing our patience and tired yet cute faces ;P

Our stay was at Hotel Ramada near Zhongshon park and its a lovely place to stay . Singapore is a country that immediately accepts you and you don't feel after some time that you are in a foreign land .. such is the vibe of this place.   and when we started for our hotel from airport it started pouring and it was such a breathtaking view ... lush green gardens all around , clean roads , amazing sea view , colored cute colonial structures , people jogging by the sea side and it seemed as it was a scene from Yashraj movies .. too perfect . I just lost my heart to this place and you can say that it was love at first sight :)

My hunger bell rings up as soon as i get up and theres a huge departmental store adjoining the hotel itself so i quickly grabbed some bagel and mango smoothie for myself , and this was also my first meal in singapore . :)

At 6.pm in the evening we had a pick up planned for singapore night safari . Its a must visit place in singapore as they show you around 100 different species of animals while sitting in a tram and creating an illusion of a open rainforest where animals are living in their natural habitat and are not caged . Clicking pictures is a tough task their as they don't allow you use camera flashes and as the tram moves on you don't want to miss the actual view by being busy with your camera collecting memories , so i just dumped my camera in my bag :) ...
but here are some pics that i managed to click .

Next day we had a pick up at 9.30 sharp in the morning for city tour and Singapore flyer . We had our breakfast and the moment we sat in the vehicle it started raining . Singapore flyer doesn't work if there is any chance of rain or lightning . So all we did was sitting in the car and seeing from its window whatever driver was dictating us ... but still we managed to visit Thian Hock Keng the oldest chinese temple in Singapore  and managed to click some beautiful pics too there :)

let me pose :P

After coming back from the city tour we decided to visit orchard road which is an ultimate shopping destination .... Its a shoppers paradise where u could find almost every brand that you could imagine . Although shopping is quite costly in singapore but you won't be able to resist yourself much as it has lots to offer . I went for buying brands that i could not find at my place . If you want to buy cosmetics it would cost you at least 20% extra the price you have to pay in india for the same product but feel free to shop them at Changi airport as its quite opposite there . Its duty free and prices are quite cheaper than the Indin duty free . So don't forget to grab your favorite brands from Changi .

BOUGHT THIS JUST FOR 150 BUCKS FROM BUGIS VILLAGE ;)

AND HERE I AM WITH MY MAN :*

If you want to explore the local market of Singapore don't miss the Bugis Village where you could get some amazing deals and don't forget to bargain . It's great for shopping fashion accessories like belts , scarves , shoes , jewelry or handbags at really cheap prices , but you need to have time in your pocket . Spare atleast 3 to 4 hours to explore bugis village .

And if you want to buy gifts and souvenirs for your family and  friends back home don't forget to visit Mustafa market at Little India as you could find all that you u need under one roof .

And that was all how i spent my first two days in Singapore and for knowing more keep visiting the blog :)
